🕊️ Overcoming Pornography Through Jesus Christ – Anonymous Zoom Class (Weekly)

We invite young single adults to join a weekly anonymous Zoom class focused on overcoming pornography through the power and grace of Jesus Christ. This is a safe, private, and spiritually uplifting resource for anyone seeking support, healing, and increased discipleship.

🤝 Self-Reliance Workshops

Self-Reliance Workshops - Please join us Thursdays at 7pm (dinner included at 6:30pm), in the church building just north of our Stake Center (same building as Stake Institute)!  Manuals will be provided. The topic for this semester’s classes is "Emotional Resilience”.  The class will run for 10 consecutive weeks (always on Thursdays at 7pm).  Class sizes will not exceed approximately 10 attendees. Institute Myth Busters

• “I don’t go to UVU.” You don’t have to be a UVU student to attend institute. It is for all young adults (working, student, single, or married).

• “I’m over 31.” Institute is for all young adults 18-35.

•  “I am married and institute is only for single people.” Institute is for married couples too. What a great way to strengthen your marriage. You can attend with your spouse or alone if your schedules don’t align.      

• “I don’t have time in my schedule.” We have multiple classes that start at 8:00 AM and continue every hour until 8:30 PM. We even have a Saturday class. 

• “I am a BYU student and take religion classes.” Great! If you want a more social setting to learn the gospel without the academic rigor, join us at the institute. 

• “Due to work and school, I can’t commit to coming each time.” Join us as often as your schedule allows. We will always be happy to see you. 

• “I’m not sure I believe anymore.” That is okay. Come and see if we can help. We have classes that invite students to ask any questions they have. We will take you no matter where you are on your faith journey. We can promise you will feel loved here.

• I’m moving soon to another city or state. How do I find an institute to attend? There is a campus or stake institute wherever you go. You can go to MyInstitute.ChurchofJesusChrist.org to find a class near you.

• “I want to get involved and serve.” We have so many committees and groups you can be a part of. We need your help. There is space for everyone.

• “What if I am a bishop and my spouse and I want to come.” We love having our bishops and their wives join us for classes, activities, and devotionals.

Online Sunday School Classes in Your Native Language
Beginning November 16, 2025

Brothers and Sisters,

Our area continues to welcome many new members from all over the world who are beginning their journey on the covenant path. To support those whose first language is not English, the Utah Area Presidency is introducing online Sunday School classes taught in four languages: Chinese (Mandarin), French, Marshallese, and Haitian Creole.

These classes will be held via Zoom on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of each month from 5:00–6:00 p.m.

These classes are designed to help members learn the gospel in their native language while still fully participating in their local YSA ward, under local priesthood keys. All participants should continue attending sacrament meeting and regular Sunday meetings in their assigned YSA ward, where translation may also be available if needed.

Important Notes:

• These classes are not for practicing or learning a new language.

• They are not meant to replace in-person Sunday meetings in your native language unless you have physical limitations or another compelling need.

• Bishop approval is required before attending an online class.
