We are excited to welcome Elder Michael B. Strong (General Authority Seventy) and his wife, Cristin Strong, to speak at the Utah Valley Institute.

Although assigned to a campus, this devotional is intended to serve as a General Authority visit for all stake institutes in Utah County. This will be a wonderful opportunity to feel the Spirit and strengthen our conversion to Jesus Christ.
All are invited to attend, including stake leaders, bishoprics, families, and young adults throughout the stake. A section of seating in the chapel will be reserved for members of stake presidencies.
The Utah Valley Institute Singers and Orchestra will provide beautiful prelude and devotional music.
Wards are welcome to gather in classrooms at the institute before or after the devotional for fellowship activities such as ward prayer or βmunch-and-mingle.β

All who would like to participate in the Stake Conference Choir are invited to attend choir practice on Sundays from February 22 through March 22 at 3:30 PM in the North Chapel (southern building) located at 824 West 800 South.
All voices are welcome.
πΏ Orem Utah Temple Grounds Maintenance Assignment (Wednesday, March 4, 2026)
This is a reminder of our stakeβs upcoming temple grounds maintenance assignment on Wednesday, March 4, 2026.
The stake is asked to provide 3 volunteers for a 2-hour assignment. Volunteers do not need to be endowed to serve on the temple grounds. Families and youth are welcome.
Volunteers should:
* Arrive between 1:50 PM and 2:00 PM
* Park in the back (East) parking lot
* Wear work clothes, including pants and closed-toed shoes
* Meet for instructions in the grounds building on the East side of the temple
* Bring a water bottle
* Return temple-owned tools to the grounds building at the end of the assignment
The temple has some hand tools and gloves available, but members may bring their own if preferred.

π³ RootsTech Conference Watch Party
Our stake will be broadcasting RootsTech Conference for young adults to gather and enjoy together on Saturday, March 7, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
We will watch the conference as a group, including the 11:00 AM keynote address by Steve Young, and lunch will be provided.

ποΈ Utah Coalition Against Pornography Conference β Hope, Help & Healing
All adults are invited to attend the 2026 Utah Coalition Against Pornography Conference on Saturday, March 14, 2026, from 9:00 AMβ2:30 PM at the Mountain America Expo Center (9575 State St, Sandy, UT 84070).
This conference focuses on hope, healing, and support for individuals and families affected by pornography. Featured keynote speakers include Curtis Morley, emotionologist and bestselling author, and President Emily Belle Freeman, General Young Women President of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Online Sunday School Classes in Your Native Language
Beginning November 16, 2025

Our area continues to welcome many new members from all over the world who are beginning their journey on the covenant path. To support those whose first language is not English, the Utah Area Presidency is introducing online Sunday School classes taught in four languages: Chinese (Mandarin), French, Marshallese, and Haitian Creole.
These classes will be held via Zoom on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of each month from 5:00β6:00 p.m.
These classes are designed to help members learn the gospel in their native language while still fully participating in their local YSA ward, under local priesthood keys. All participants should continue attending sacrament meeting and regular Sunday meetings in their assigned YSA ward, where translation may also be available if needed.
Important Notes:
These classes are not for practicing or learning a new language.
They are not meant to replace in-person Sunday meetings in your native language unless you have physical limitations or another compelling need.
Bishop approval is required before attending an online class.
